a dose of male fashion. not the conventional prim proper well cut male fashion, featuring other more indie and hippie ones as well. i like it.
strangely it was introduced by loo during one of the random talks sometime ago. loo’s changed.
change is good.

dirty laundry is finally up!!! on an free external host though.

whatever. finally! I’ve tried so hard slaving over this to get it run properly and now proudly presenting my portfolio website:

dirtylaundry

For my Graphic Design where we had to take a fading tradition and revamp it to contemporary context. I chose Chinese tea culture and had the concept of setting up a Chinese tea cafe, that rivals the ubiquitous coffee cafes every corner of the street, for tea drinkers.
mycupoftea is a Chinese tea cafe that will be an alternative chillax place for young adults, at same time providing opportunity for elementary tea drinkers to get acquainted with Chinese tea by finding their own unique flavour that they can stick to, and preferably continue the tea culture. The cafe also sells tea leaves into per serving packages for them to take home. Sniff tabs can be obtained from counter in case you do not know what’s your current flavour; as there are appreciation of good tea is to sniff the fragrance before tasting and the fragrance and taste should coincide.

been busy churning final projects and many things else.

For typography II we had to do a children’s fable. I did on Sima Guang (the child who broke the vat to save another child from drowning). The concept is about how destruction can save one’s life and this concept is extended to the book, whereby readers have to tear (and destroy) the cover and pages to reveal the story and illustrations.

This was what went on during the shoot in the studio.. displaying selected photos.

Threefold has got some really organic ideas.
Silkscreen on chipboard.
reminds me of the silkscreen works of jason munn. i still prefer the master..

I like how Yasmin Ahmad approaches all her subjects. Shes the one who brought us Funeral commercial that’s pretty hot on TV recently, as well as the single dad advert shown sometime back.

I especially like this colourblind campaign. simple and sweet.

Oh man i love this scam ad.
hold your breath while watching this..
