If you are still concern with gradient logos being a design taboo, this article aims to prove it otherwise, showing there are no good reasons to shun and give up on good-looking logos just because they are more than 3 colours or gradients.
The Village is supposed to be a Youth Olympics 2010 newspaper catered for the youths as well as their coaches residing in the Olympic Village in premise of NTU. It is believed that the publication will provide residents with snippets from scenes the day before, updates on the cultural activities in the village as well as other general and sporting knowledge.
This is the version that I’ve designed. Just for your viewing pleasure and curiosity of what we have done in publication class.

now i tempted to enjoy a sabbatical every other semester already.
Although COP15 Copenhagen UN Climate Change Conference might be a major flop, the logo should not be overlooked. Perhaps it’s a personal muse over line art, the logo created by Danish group NR2154 is truly intriguing, with thin lines criss-crossing, elegantly meeting at various points, forming a 3-dimensional globe that resemble a wireframe developed in 3d softwares.
“The logo symbolises the blue planet. A network of lines – one for each nation in the UN – make up a complex structure heading towards unrest or balance.”
